Black Turtle Beans


Great in stews, sauces, salads and side dishes. A favourite in Mexican bean dishes! They hold their shape well when cooked.
Organic black turtle beans are often combined with rice, spices, vegetables, chillies & onion and make a great base for a chilli or nachos or burrito bean mix. They have a mild, sweet earthy taste and soft creamy texture when cooked.

One cup of dried beans will become two cups when cooked and they absorb flavours well.
